Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 August 2026

DRILL collects nothing. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party code, and the app never makes a network request. Everything it knows about you is on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. The App Store privacy label for DRILL reads Data Not Collected, and that is a description of how the app is built rather than a policy we have chosen to follow. There is no server to send data to.

What the app stores on your device

DRILL saves the following locally, in the app's own storage, so your plan and progress survive between sessions:

None of it is transmitted. Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can also erase it from inside the app at any time: Settings → Delete all progress.

Device backups

If you have iCloud Backup or an encrypted local backup turned on, iOS may include DRILL's local data in that backup, the same as it does for other apps. That is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy policy. DRILL does not use iCloud sync, and does not read or write anything outside its own storage.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally by iOS on the device. They are not push notifications: there is no server, no push certificate, and no device token. If you deny or later turn off notification permission, everything else in the app continues to work.

Health data

DRILL does not integrate with Apple Health and does not read or write any HealthKit data.

Children

DRILL is designed for young athletes, roughly 8 to 12, and is intended to be set up with a parent. Because the app collects no personal information at all, there is nothing to obtain parental consent for under COPPA or comparable rules. No information about a child is ever transmitted, stored remotely, sold, or shared, because none is ever collected.

Third parties

There are none. DRILL ships with no third-party SDKs, no analytics libraries, no crash reporters, no advertising frameworks and no tracking of any kind.

This website

trainwithdrill.com is static HTML served without cookies, analytics or trackers. Our host keeps standard server request logs, which we do not use to build a profile of anyone.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. If a future version of the app were to start collecting anything, which is not planned, it would be described here first, and asked for in the app.
